Nicolas Kummert is a Belgian composer, saxophonist and singer. He has been teaming up with Viktor Lazlo and Michel Bisceglia (almost 200 concerts since 2012 with ‘my name is Billie Holiday’), Yves Peeters Group, Qu4tre, Alexi Tuomarila Quartet, Jef Neve & GrooveTHing, Pierre Van Dormael and many others. He also plays with DJ’s and African singers, which made him become a versatile musician about whom Brad Mehldau wrote: “There is often a wonderful gentleness to Nicolas Kummert’s playing that perfectly suits the music… and he shows a great musical personality”. 

In Nicolas Kummert Voices, he is surrounded by internationally acclaimed top musicians such as Finnish pianist Alexi Tuomarila and French-Senegalese Hervé Samb. They combine different styles (jazz, African music,…) and have multiple vocalists to create a unique sound.
