Michelino Bisceglia’s soundtrack for the film ‘Marina’ has won a World Soundtrack Award 2014 in the category Public Choice. ‘Marina’ is a film based upon the childhood memories of Rocco Granata.
Amongst the nominees were some of the biggest Hollywood productions of the past year. Therefore Bisceglia is very pleased to have won this award: “I was already very proud that Rocco Granata, Stijn Coninx and producer Peter Boeckaert believed that I was the right composer for this film; and I really enjoyed our excellent teamwork. Receiving an award from the public for this soundtrack is a great honour.”
‘Marina’ has already won a series of national and international awards. Other winners at this year’s World Soundtrack Awards are: Alexandre Desplat, Pharrell Williams, Daniel Pemberton and Francis Lai.
